Nicole has always had an interest in all things creative. With previous careers in photography and graphic design, she discovered aerial arts when she was 23 and was instantly hooked. It provided her with a new challenge and a new way to express her creativity.
She has been teaching aerial arts for the past 5 years at Move N Soar. Her aerial training has taken her all over North America, training with Cirque artists in Las Vegas, as well as with aerialists in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal and Minneapolis. She placed 2nd at her first Professional Division aerial competition at the E.D. Aerial Dance Festival last year.
Nicole has completed several training programs such as NECCA-New England Center for Circus Arts Foundation Certification - Fabric, Aerial Sling, and Lyra, Womack and Bowman Master the Silks, Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association. She is also certified as an AntiGravity Fitness instructor.
In her spare time (when she not too busy at the studio teaching) she likes to improve on her flexibility and handstands. Nicole's favourite part about teaching is the rewarding feeling when students accomplish challenging skills that they have worked hard to achieve. She loves the relationships that develop between the students and the community that aerial arts brings together.
Nicole is excited to continue to work along side a fabulous aerial team and share her passion with Saskatoon.
